Our Process

1. SLS will obtain all of your medical records surrounding the event in question from treating hospitals, clinics, doctors, and pharmacies. This process may take 30-60 days.
2. We’ll have all of your medical records electronically summarized and readied for a professional medical review.
3. We have an extensive network of US Board Certified MD’s that are specialists in your type of injury and field of medicine, who will meticulously review each of your medical records. Whether its anesthesiologists, cardiologists, OBGYNs, oral or orthopedic surgeons, these physicians know the exact standard of care medically acceptable and are adept at uncovering any breach in care that transpired.
4. Once our panel of MD’s have reviewed all of your records, they’ll compile an expert medical review detailing their opinion. If they believe that the proper standard of care was observed and your treatment was in line with the medically acceptable standards of care, they’ll sign off that everything was done appropriately and no medical malpractice is evident.  Should they uncover facts indicating there was a breach in the medically acceptable level of care, they’ll opine as to where the breach occurred, what the acceptable level of practice should’ve been, and highlight the grounds for which they believe medical malpractice is evident.
5. Should your expert medical opinion uncover grounds for a medical malpractice suit to be filed, we’ll provide you the supporting data necessary to substantiating your claim, and release all of your medical records to you.
